So main issues is that these work from home setup are vulnerable to cyber attacks,  other security threats since it is not in  office network. there may be a tremendous increase in "phishing" attacks to target the people who are working from home, malicious link in an email or message which  lead to installing malware on your device. most people using personal laptops or cellphones for work may be more expose to cyber criminals especially multi user laptops.
 The company ensure that computer in use  is patched  and has the right operating systems with the right keys.the company should also ensure  that you have installed the latest available software updates, so that it get an advancement of

Shutting down the laptop can disturbs the viruses from their activities  in your devices and some times gets erased when it's turned off,
